About Me

       Since I was a little girl I have always loved animals and wanted to be a vet. Unfortunately as a child you don't realize the heart break behind the field. I have so much love & appreciation for what they do, unfortunately that's just not for me. I love seeing dogs being dogs, happy & healthy. Mountain Pawtrol allows me to spend my life doing what I love and bring joy to my clients lives. 

        I am a wife, mom, Bruins fan, avid hiker, and have 3 pups of my own. Mountain Pawtrol is a family business. I couldn't do any of this without their support. My husband Matt is awesome and all the pups just love him. They eagerly await his love and attention. My boys are boys, some days they're interested, some days not. Though my oldest, Landon, is always lending a helping hand when needed. Then we have my pups. First there's Ruby, she is a German shepherd and my soul dog! I waited my entire life for her and she is everything I dreamed!! She has been walking dogs with me since she was 12 weeks old. She absolutely loves other dogs and completely amazes me by her level of play with each and every dog. She is so gentle and sweet. Next I have Scout, a Siberian Husky Sled dog, I was given Scout by a sled kennel, he has very bad eyes and is almost completely blind. But let me tell you, that doesn't stop him at all!! We call him our mascot, as he is right there eager to greet all his new friends coming to play. Lastly I have Joey my newest shepherd puppy, he is so stinking smart and eager to please. He's still wrapping his mind around the idea of his friends constantly leaving, but he loves to play with them all. 

     On the very rare occasion I'm not playing with dogs, I am spending time with my family, exploring the mountains of NH, having dance parties with my kids, and watching the Bruins kick some butt! 

       I opened Mountain Pawtrol in September 2022 when we moved here from RI. Before Mountain Pawtrol I owned another successful dog walking business, Puppy Pals that I ran for 5 years. I have over 15 years experience and look forward to adventuring with the dogs of the Great North Woods.
